Hotel Castello

Hotel Castello sits 200 meters from St. Mark's Basilica and a 5-minute walk from the Vaporetto water bus stop at San Zaccaria. The hotel is tucked into a quiet side street, so guest rooms remain quiet despite the central location. St. Mark's Square, Doge's Palace, and the Rialto Bridge are all within a few minutes' walk.

All air-conditioned rooms include Murano glass lamps and Persian rugs. Some rooms offer views of Venice's rooftops, including the dome of St. Mark's Basilica. The bathroom has strong water pressure and a large shower, and daily maid service keeps the room clean.

A continental breakfast buffet is served each morning, featuring traditional Italian coffee. The dining room occupies part of a building that dates back to the 1700s. The bar serves wine and champagne, and there is a coffee house on site.

The hotel occupies a historic building with an ancient staircase from the 1700s leading to the rooms, breakfast room, and bar. A rooftop terrace offers views of the surrounding rooftops and the domes of St. Mark's Basilica. Safety features include smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, and a 24-hour security system.
